About Me

Hi, I'm Lori

Hi, I’m Lori — the hands, heart, creative mind, and sometimes the late-night stitches behind A Stitch in Time Embroidery.

Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about who I am and what I do.

My journey into embroidery wasn’t something I planned. It began with a simple love for creating things that mattered—gifts that meant something, pieces that carried stories. I’ve always believed the most meaningful items aren’t mass-produced; they’re made slowly, thoughtfully, and with intention.

Over time, making things for my family and friends grew into something bigger. People began asking for embroidered gifts, memory bears, and special pieces they couldn’t find anywhere else. That’s when I realized something important: there is a real need for handmade work that comes from the heart.

That’s when A Stitch in Time Embroidery was born.

Today, I create every piece myself in my home studio in Oklahoma.

When you order from me, you aren’t just buying a product — you’re trusting me with something personal. Maybe it’s clothing from a loved one who has passed. Maybe it’s a design for your business. Maybe it’s a gift for a new baby, a graduate, or someone you love.

Whatever it is, I treat every project like it matters… because it does.

I take my time choosing the right materials, matching colors, and stitching with care. I’m not a factory and I’m not a giant company — I’m a woman who genuinely cares about the people I serve. I love hearing your stories, your memories, and your reasons for wanting something special.

Some days this work brings tears, especially when I’m trusted with memory items.
Some days it brings laughter and joy as I stitch something fun or unexpected.
Every day, it brings purpose.

A Stitch in Time Embroidery is more than a business to me — it’s a way to honor stories, celebrate moments, and help people feel connected through something handmade.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting a small business. Thank you for trusting me with your memories, your ideas, and the pieces that matter most.

It means more to me than you know, and I am grateful for the chance to create something meaningful for you.

Thank you,
